Current Prospects

Our team continues to develop our substantial acreage position in the Rocky Mountains as well as pursuing a major project in Argentina’s Neuquen Basin. Retamco is awaiting drilling approval from the US Bureau of Land Management for a $12M horizontal, multi-stage frac well to test the oil-condensate window of the Niobrara Shale on its 20,000 acre Greasewood Unit in the Piceance Basin (Rio Blanco County, Colorado). Retamco is also currently pursuing opportunities in the world class Vaca Muerta Shale in Argentina and is poised to become one of the first small companies to operate in this play.
